My earliest attempt at my own expression of art after high school. It was an eerie image I had of my connection to my inner child. I felt like I was tapping into something I didn't yet understand, which I grew to understand later in my adult life pertaining to my subconscious thoughts and emotions.
I really had no direction at this stage, all I knew was that my creativity was eager for a change. This was kind of a exploration of myself, around this time in my life I had decided that I would concentrate on improving, on pushing my boundaries. Before this, from middle school, through junior high; I was mainly drawing little cartoon doodles, copying my favorite super heroes and messing around with "graffiti" style art with the most basic materials, all of which I naturally outgrew.
This was to be the seed of all my future growth as an Artist. The bridge between my immature and matured sense of expression thru art.
